The Caudron brothers Museum


One day in 1909, two brothers, Gaston and René CAUDRON, farmer's sons, who lived in the neighboorhood realised the wildest dreams of the time : Flying !

With few means but great tenacity, both succeeded in the building of "a flying machine".

At the time, it was a remarkable feat !

And this is how that great family adventure began in 1909 until 1939.

 

Come to visit the museum in Rue, In the Somme Bay!

The museum is open all year round, free of charge :

On Monday: from 2:00pm to 6:00pm

From Tuesday to Saturday: from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm

 

July, August : From Monday to Sunday - From  9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 7:00pm
